失業率上昇でタスクフォース結成へ

フィリピンではパンデミック以降、失業率の上昇が際立ち再就職も困難な状況に陥る現状にありました。
そこで政府機関がタスクフォースを結成し雇用回復計画に乗り出しました。

今回署名したのは労働雇用省（DOLE）、貿易産業省（DTI）、技術教育・技能開発庁（TESDA）です。

これにより労働長官は「より多くの雇用機会の形成を奨励し、労働者の雇用と生産性を向上させ、既存および新興企業をサポートする政策環境を開発するために働くタスクフォースとしての我々の集団的な事業を強化するだろう」と述べました。

また他にも高等教育委員会、農業改革省、農務省、教育省、環境・天然資源省、情報通信技術省、内政・地方自治省、公共事業・高速道路省、科学技術省、社会福祉・開発省、観光省、国家安全保障会議がタスクフォースに組み込まれています。

フィリピンの雇用回復なるか。
所得がなければ経済も回らないですので、小さなところから歯車を回してでも市場が動き出すといいですね。

Gov’t task force on jobs creation formed

Various government agencies formed a task force Friday, February 5, to boost the country’s employment recovery plan.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) signed a joint memorandum circular (JMC) constituting the National Employment Recovery Strategy (NERS) Task Force.

NERS is a medium-term plan geared towards creating employment opportunities and improving employability of Filipinos while taking into consideration the changes in the labor market brought by the pandemic and the fast adoption of the Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.

“Let me convey my appreciation to all the agencies that contributed to our endeavor to generate more employment opportunities and to improve employability of our workers through the NERS,” Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III said during the signing ceremony.

Bello furthered that the “JMC will fortify our collective undertaking as a task force working to develop a policy environment that encourages generation of more employment opportunities, improves employability and productivity of workers, and supports existing and emerging businesses.”

He also said that the move is aligned with the overall economic recovery strategy espoused in the updated Philippine Development Plan 2017-2022 and the ReCharge PH initiative.
