アフリカ豚熱発生無し　バタンガス

昨年国内で発生確認後、多くの豚たちが殺処分され、豚の減少による経済と生活への打撃は大きく、今年になってからは対策に海外からの支援も組み込むなどして乗り出しています。

今回公表されたのは、バタンガス州での調査結果です。
昨年はバタンガスでも多くの被害が出ていました。そして今月、アフリカ豚熱が発生していない事を発表しました。

コロナを封じ込めることはできませんでしたが、アフリカ豚熱の集束は早いかもしれません。

Good news! 6 areas in Batangas become first to be declared ASF-free

Six local government unit (LGUs) in Batangas have been declared free of African Swine Fever (ASF)–the first “local declaration” in the country since its outbreak last year, the Department of Agriculture (DA) said.

“This is the first local declaration that happened in our country, and Region IV-A particularly Batangas once again led in battling ASF,” said Dr. Romel Marasigan, the Provincial Veterinarian of Batangas.
